12 Days of Kindness // Day 12

For our final day of kindness, we shift the attention back to ourselves. So often we float through our days on auto-pilot, racing from one task to the next, and shifting our attention from the present to what we need to accomplish for the future. I’m guilty of this all too often. But when I do stop to take a breath & think of how grateful I am simply to BE here, my entire world shifts.

For your act of kindness, grab a pen/paper and write down the first three things about your life that cause you stress. Next, match it up with a thought of gratitude & kindness.

Examples :)

Uncertainty of the future | I am grateful to have so many powerful lessons under my belt, is there anything I can’t handle? I promise to be kind to myself, knowing that given the situation ~ I always do my best.
Feeling overwhelmed with work | I am so grateful to connect with so many people each day. I will be kind to myself and take things one task at a time!
The fear of rejection or failure | I feel grateful for the opportunity to TRY! I will be kind to myself for stepping outside of my comfort zone, as that alone is a success.
